Committee needs volunteers -- please sign up today!!
Purpose
- Investigate
3rd party payment and parity laws (in NH & other states)
- Monitor
legislation (state and national--see
Lobbying below):
- Support
pro-acupuncture legislation (by providing testimony, presenting
at hearings, lobbying, generating public/professional support,
coordinating letter campaigns, etc.)
- Support
legislation submitted by the NH Licensing Board or NHAAOM
- Oppose
legislation that would undermine or harm our profession
- Work in
conjunction with the NH Licensing Board in order to avoid duplicate
legislative efforts and working at cross purposes.
- Cultivate
positive relationships with NH legislators

With every
new member, the NHAAOM moves closer to being able to hire a professional
Lobbyist to provide reports on legislative bills that may affect
the practice of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in NH, and to
act as our voice in the NH legislature. Until that day, we will
have to serve as our own Lobbyists and rely on donations of professional
services. Please contact
us if you know a Lobbyist who would be willing to donate
his or her services to the NHAAOM.
